The International Federation of Sport Fishing at Sea (FIPS-M.), has entrusted Spain with the organisation of the 5th  World Championship in anchored boat. In turn, the Spanish Federation of Fishing and Casting entrusted the details of its organisation to the Fishing Federation of Valencia and the Real Club Náutico, who has planned it from 24th  November to 1st  December 2012.
The Real Club Náutico is honoured to host these World Championship.
Torrevieja in winter is a wonderful place in the Mediterranean for the practice of this type of fishing. As a reference The Real Club Náutico is organising the International Open for teams,  taking place every year in the month of December, as well as the endorsement of a long history of organising National fishing Championships in different forms.
For the Real Club Náutico it is a true honour to invite the world’s best anglers and their guests to participate in the championship, so they can enjoy our city, our club and our sea, and above all, so that they can live together and share experiences which is what enriches an event of this kind, and which will provide the opportunity of reunion of fishermen from around the world.
As anglers and having already shared with you many days in other world championships, we know that our organisation will find everything you need to make your trip worthwhile and that the championship will finish in good memory of the competition and people that will work for you.
