New Huge Success for the Rowing School of the Real Club Nautico in Torrevieja.
The male Cadet team won the championship of Fixed Bench Rowing  in the “Cristo del Mar” regatta, held this weekend in Alicante, getting first place in the final with the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante in second place, and the Rowing Club of the Fishermen’s Association of Torrevieja third, a great result for these guys as five of the team members are complete novices in the sport.

The female veteran team finished in a praiseworthy sixth place, especially considering that one of the team members (Pilar) rowed with a broken hand. This happened just the day before the race, but she still wanted to participate in the regatta, even with a forearm in plaster
The men’s veteran team did not have its best day, only achieving sixth position, despite their efforts, a fall in position we are not used to.
The next race is in two weeks in Gandía.
