“Griego,” Black Octopus “and” Rebuch “achieved the victory of the Pascual Flores II Regatta of the Yacht Club Marina International Torrevieja, which took place on Saturday 4th of June.
The activities began on Friday, June 3rd , with the opening of the Race Office. On Saturday, June 4th , after the skippers’ meeting, and a sailors’ breakfast for participants, the fleet sailed to the start at 11:30 noon. With a wind of 8 to 10 knots from the east, the race with a distance of 29 nautical miles started in the vicinity of the Port of Torrevieja to the Nr1 Reservation Bouy of Tabarca Island, had to go around to port for the line finish in the vicinity of the Port of Torrevieja. During the first part, to Tabarca Island, the fleet sailed close-hauled. The return was downwind with stable wind strengths and direction.
