Unai Peraita in Laser 4.7 and the team formed by Francisco Martínez and Vicente Guijarro in Flying Dutchman, winners in their classes
The fleet of Optimist and Laser 4.7 under 15 will face  a second attack at the meeting of Alicante next weekend, 10 and 11 December , with headquarters at La Cantera.
The Sea does not close down in winter. The new edition of the Alicante Sailing Week opened last weekend with competition in the Dinghy: Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Laser Standard, Europe. Flying Dutchman Class, and  catamarans, Hobie 16 and Formula 18.
Flying Dutchman
Competition was fierce in the Flying Dutchman class, with five races. Team Ginés Romero and Álvaro Moreno, CN Altea, swept the first three ‘tests’, but was unable to compete in the last two, in which the team Vicente Torregorsa Martinéz Torregrosa and Francisco Guijarra of the RCN Torrevieja and CN Altea took the opportunity to score two victories that added to their previous three second places. The cards favoured the latter to complete the win with 5 points. Jose Sanchez and Javier Higuer, CN Altea were on the podium in third place with 10 points.
Laser 4.7
There was also a competition in the Laser class 4.7, which was one of the busier classes, with 7 races held. Ivan Moreno opened the scoring for the CN Campello, with partial success in the first test. But CN Torrevieja sailor, Unai Peraita took it over and won the next three. The Alicante sailor Antonio de Bejar, Alicante RCR would take the last three. The rules were the key to the results of the remaining rankings, led by Unai Peraita, of the RCN Torrevieja with 12 points as second. Followed by Ivan Moreno, CN Campello, third with 16 points and Antonio de Berja RCR Alicante, with 22 points. The first girl was Angela Shepherd, the RCN Calpe.
