The team of Eugenio Viudes and Pedro Munuera,  of the Marina Las Dunas de Guardamar, became champion of the Open VI International Torrevieja with a total catch of 7.840 kg. Italians Marco Volpi and Paolo Volpini were ranked second with 7.780 kg and J. Manuel Perez and Enrique Pérez  of the Marine Internacional was placed third with 7.340 kg. Fourth place went to the team formed by José Francisco Paredes and Miguel Quetglas of RCN Torrevieja, with a weight of 7295 kg, and also the trophy for the largest unit with a denton of 1, 135 kg.
Franciso J. Ruiz and José R. Cano, also from Guardamar were placed in fifth position, with 7.255 Kg. The Junior  fishing trophy went to top-ranked Alejandro Fernandez belonging to RCN Torrevieja team
