With a perfect organisation by the CN Altea, over 50 sailors from countries across Europe, measured forces in the European Championships held in the Micro Magic class on 5th, 6th and 7th October.
After three days of competition and over 20 disputed races, Guillermo Beltri sailor of the RCN Torrevieja claimed victory, against main rivals, the Dutch team and some Swedish and English sailors who showed much presence. However, the Spanish team, led by Beltri, and Cayuela Romero, who had trained intensively for this championship, won the first six legs with authority.
In the international achievements of Beltri RCN sailor feature a separate class M World Championship held in France, a European championship class I held in Croatia meters and in turn several podium places both European and Worldwide.
Ginés Romero, former European Champion 2011, also a member partner of the RCNT handed Beltri the trophy naming him European champion. This trophy contains the name of the former European champions since the tournament began in 2007, highlighting among them the Englishman Tussingham and the Portuguese Joao Prates.
The next event for 2013 will be  held in Rotterdam
