In the Spanish Championship Ergo Metric Rowing, held in Amposta this weekend , the rowers of our club accompanied by coach Miguel Angel Sanchez VALERO have obtained two bronze medals and one silver for our Club .
The first to get a medal, was Andrés Espinosa BALLESTER in the Male Veteran category who was left in third, two seconds behind the silver that went to the representative of Corvera, and in the first position was a rower from Badalona; just minutes after the races for Male Youth took place in which Andres Espinosa SABATER ( The veteran’s son) also won third place just two hundredths behind the rower from Guadalquivir, with the gold medal for Banyoles; in this category also Hector Rodriguez ALCARAZ participated , our rower who remaine in 18th place out of 35 participants.
The last race was the all-male category where our rower LARS Gumprecht, Champion of Spain in 2012, had a strong opponent in the representative from  Minho Remo, and he could not beat him, obtaining  a creditable second place with a time of 5’56 ”, improving his previous championship time by three seconds.
