The contenders of the RCN Torrevieja, Ascensión Roca de Togores and Mercedes Fernandez, took the podium in the Spanish Championship Europe Class, which was held in the RCM of Málaga between 20 and 23 September. With five races held, Ascensión Roca de Togores took bronze in the female category, while Mercedes Fernández Pellicer was runner-up in the Female Under 19 category.

Between 20 and 23 September at the RCM of Málaga the Spanish Championship Europe Class was held . There were four days of racing in the Bay of Málaga with great difficulty due to the capricious surfing wind that lasted until the last moment. On Thursday and Friday, however, with the sea level and without the slightest breeze, the fleet was unable to complete any race. At \the beginning of Saturday, thanks to the input of gusts over six knots the evidence to validate the conclusion of these tournaments could be disputed. On Saturday there were three runs with very little wind, between 6 and 8 knots, and Sunday with more wind. but no more than 9 knots, there were two.
