Mara Garcia and Isabel Wandosell, the first classified girls in the Provincial Sailing Cup for Youth at the NC Santa Pola. In Under 12, the best were Eduardo Ortuño and Tania Samper, all team members of the RCN Torrevieja.
During the weekend, 5th  and 6th  May, The Provincial Cup Youth Sailing May 10 Memorial was held in Santa Pola for the Optimist class A and B,  Laser 4.7, Under 16, and Bic Techno 293 . Six races were held in all classes except B Optimist; they competed in four races.
Nacho Balaguer and  Mara García, Provincial Cup in Óptimist A
In Optimist A, with 41 participants and in six races held, the rivalry continued until the last minute. Carlos Balaguer, the RCN Valencia opened the scoring on Saturday, but his brother, Nacho Balaguer won the hand in the second test, the Third went to David Azurmendi of RCN Torrevieja, who also scored the fifth partial victory. Carles Ortega, of the RCN Gandía was first in the fourth test, and his club colleague, Enrique Lujan, the final one for the Cup
With so much equity in the results it was necessary that the regularity conditions were imposed on the standings. Nacho Balaguer took the RCN Valencia Provincial Cup. Although he only won one test, he was always among the first to go through and his worst finish was sixth place, which was disregarded. Second with 15 points for Henry Lujan, came the RCN Gandía and third place on the podium was for Carlos Balaguer of the RCN Valencia. In fourth and fifth place: Francisco Navarro and David Azurmendi, RCN Torrevieja.
In the girls division, Mara Garcia, took the Provincial Women’s Optimist Cup A. Second and third were: Isabel Wandosell, RCN Torrevieja and Ines Sanchez of CN Santa Pola. Note the performance of Eduardo Ortuño  and Tania Samper, RCNT were the best in Under-12.
Provincial Cup in Laser 4.7
In Laser 4.7 In children, the fight for the podium was maintained until the last minute and was clearly spectacular. Six tests were sailed. Antonio Torrado, RCNT, fought until the end to get on the podium but had to settle for an honourable 5th place.
Autonomic Cup in Bic Techno 293
The Bic Techno sailed a total of six tests. Although the race was also attended by Youth Under 19, they were not listed for the Provincial Cup.
Despite their limited experience in tournaments, the brothers Victor and Oscar Myhr listed in 9th and 11th position.
