This past weekend 26th and 27th May, the Real Club Nautico de Denia Cup held the Regional 29er class, organized by DeniaVela part of the Real Club Nautico Denia with the permission of the Sailing Federation of Comunitad Valencia.
Pablo Sánchez Cremadesand  Juan Miguel Martínez Ruiz of Alicante RCR claimed the title of Champions in the 29er Regional Cup of  Denia with 6 points lead over second place, achieved by Ramon Ortega Cerdánn and Antonio Torrado Martinez of RCN Torrevieja and 9 points advantage over dianenses Davide Burzio Perez and Jacobo Miguel Lopez, who took third place.
Seven tests were sailed with windward – leeward throughout the weekend. Three on Saturday, under a rapidly changing wind of which the sailors easily took advantage at sea. The wind started with 10 knots and got up during the day to reach 25 knots, when the fleet returned to land  to prepare for the next morning.On Sunday, the organizing committee and Ramon Portolés, the race officer, managed to allow the four mentioned  tests, starting with a wind of 12 knots that dropped to 4 knots and the last race was reduced to a  shortened course.
